The symbiosis is a special natural phenomenon in which two or more organisms derive mutual benefit from their joint partnership. This is the invisible link that keeps them in everlasting balance, in which they keep their individuality, but cannot exist without each other. Symbiosis is mutuality, trust and commitment. All this is Atanasovsko Lake: an invisible at first glance network of complex relationships and processes, a mysterious organism that lives, breathes and pulsates near the heart of the town of Burgas. This fragile natural oasis would not be the same without this wonderful exchange, hidden in pink and green leads and salt crystals, without its inhabitants and even without man.

The Exhibition for Atanasovsko Lake is dedicated to the symbiosis, because it makes this  place special. This mix of invisible links, compelling feelings, enchanting colors, lights, scents and sounds cannot be fully explained, they should be experienced. This is one different exhibition, designed to travel and to inform, entertain and educate – in a new and innovative manner – not just with facts, but with a tangle of stories, pictures and sounds, games, a flight over the lagoon, with memories of the past and especially – with a smile.

The exhibition is a result of the symbiosis between several young authors from Burgas – Mariana Sarbova (Hamalogika), Diana Pavlova (BBF), Nedko Nikolov and Galina Milkova (Think Forward). The author of the drawings is Mariana Sarbova, the animation is created by Pavilion studio.

The exhibition was designed in the framework of „The Salt of Life“ Project of the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation and is financed by the EU LIFE +program.
