About

Paint Me a Melody is an interactive installation by Martin Pavlov /software engineer/ and Galina Milkova /Think Forward/ that transforms the sound of a classical piano into paintings of light. Intrigued by the symbiosis between art and technology, we have created an interactive box. It contains 192 laser diodes which react to the frequencies of the piano sound and paint tunes in the night. The richer the sound is, the more picturesque its luminous analogue is. The interactive box itself has an artistic value – an original abstraction, inspired by musical symbols and signs, is printed on its surface.

The project is created for Hamalogika and financially supported by Burgas Municipality.
