

ARCHITECT/ARTIST
Galina Milkova graduated from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Sofia, Bulgaria. She is a master of Architecture and specialized in the “Public Buildings” Department of UACEG. Galina is a scholarship recepient of “EVRIKA” foundation for mastering knowledge in the field of Architecture and a Baumit scholarship recepient for two consecutive years. Her diploma project “Demokratos” was awarded first prize in the world diploma competition Degree&Profession International Awards. The team project “The Intelligent Biomachine” was awarded honorable mention in the American engineering association competition ASHRAE – Student Design Competition: Integrated Sustainable Building Design. Galina is part of the designing team of Troika Square reconstruction in Burgas, Bulgaria.
In 2015 Galina has initiated the SYNC project – a personal exploration of the syncretic unity between poetry and architecture. The interactive installation “Love Pavilion” marked the beginning of SYNC.
Due to the social approach in her architecture work Galina has been featured in ARCHITETTE – WOMEN ARCHITECTS book dedicated to 365 inspiring women architects around the world.

DESIGNER/ARTIST
Nedko Nikolov graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts „St. Cyril and Methodius“, Veliko Tarnovo, specialty „Pedagogy of Fine Arts – specialized profile“ Sculpture“. In 2010 he won an Erasmus program grant and specialized in the University De Belas Artes, Lisbon, Portugal. He studied spatial design in NBU. Nedko participated in a collective exhibition in Lisbon, Portugal, won fifth place in the global competition“His Cult“ of the University IED Milano 2010 and second place in the global competition „Reuse Design“of the University IED Barcelona 2011, participated in SofiaDesignWeek 2012.

ARCHITECT/ARTIST
Monika Marinova graduated with a Professional Diploma in Architecture with Distinction from The School of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University, and with a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours from Manchester School of Architecture at The University of Manchester. Among other distinctions, her projects have been awarded both universities’ highest award recognitions – nominations for RIBA Presidents’ Bronze (2015) and Silver (2019) Medals. In 2020 she won the Young Talent Architecture Award, part of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award.
Previously, Monika worked with London-based architecture offices on education and public projects, often working with historic heritage buildings of specific architectural interest, applying a sensitive approach to design, underpinned by a philosophy concerned with integrating long-term social and ethical values into the built environment.
